Bring these questions
- Is PDRN or a polynucleotide product like Rejuran more suitable for my skin, and what is the difference?
- How many sessions would you plan, and how far apart, given my travel?
- When can I wash my face, wear makeup and exercise again?
What it is assessed for
Concerns assessed for PDRN include fine lines, loss of elasticity, enlarged pores, rough texture, acne scars and redness. Suitability is decided individually. Daylight photos without makeup, what bothers you, and your dates in Seoul help the physician give an initial view.
Limits
PDRN is often planned as more than one session, but the number and spacing are set by the physician and reviewed as you go. It is aimed at skin quality, and how much changes varies by individual.
Alternatives
Rejuran is a salmon-derived polynucleotide, and polynucleotide and PDRN products are not interchangeable. Juvelook and Tune Re2O are collagen-stimulating injectables. Each targets skin quality differently, and the physician explains which formulation suits your concern.
Screening and recovery
Tell the physician about a fish or salmon allergy, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or an active skin infection in the area. Numbing cream can be used. Redness, swelling or small bumps at injection points may occur. Moisturising and sun protection are part of aftercare.
