Is it really fat?
Loose skin and muscle can look like fat but will not change with injection. The physician checks this first, along with whether the area is small enough. Sometimes an energy-based contouring device is the more sensible option, and you will be told.
Limits
It will not change your overall weight. More than one session is usually needed, with the number depending on the area and how it responds. Individual results vary, and the published scope covers one area per session, not a full-body plan.
Alternatives
InMode uses radiofrequency for fat under the chin and lower-face fullness, and InMode for the Body treats body areas with radiofrequency and suction. Where the concern is a missing curve rather than excess fat, body filler addresses the opposite problem.
What recovery feels like
Numbing is applied, but stinging or burning after injection is common. Swelling, tenderness, firmness and occasional bruising follow, and under-chin swelling can be obvious for the first day or two. Plan event and flight dates with this in mind.
