Is it a volume problem?

Not every dark under-eye is caused by hollowing. Puffy bags, brown pigment in the skin and loose eyelid skin have different causes, and an injectable may not help them. The physician assesses this first and says plainly when another approach is worth considering.

What to expect from the product

Polycaprolactone particles are placed in the deeper layer, where the intended action is to support collagen formation over time. Change develops gradually and is reviewed at follow-up. How much changes, and when, varies by individual and is not predicted in advance; smoothness cannot be guaranteed.

Alternatives

Where skin quality rather than hollowing is the main concern, polynucleotide or PDRN injections, or a PDLLA stimulator such as Juvelook, may be discussed. Previous under-eye filler, eyelid surgery or other treatment in the area should be mentioned because it affects the plan.

Bruising and travel timing

The under-eye bruises and swells easily, and swelling, bruising or unevenness can occur. Numbing and cooling help comfort but do not remove these risks. Send your flight date before booking and be prepared for some bruising to remain visible on the way home.
