Bring these questions
- Is my concern localized fat, cellulite or loose skin, and is Onda the right device for that area?
- How many sessions would you recommend, and does my stay allow a course?
- Do any implants, devices or skin conditions rule Onda out for me?
Assessment
The physician examines the area to judge which concern dominates and whether it suits microwave energy. The energy amount is recommended based on the size of the area and what you want to change. A daylight photo of the area and your dates in Seoul help.
What it is not
Onda is not a weight-loss treatment and does not change body weight. The manufacturer describes target depths in the dermis and fat layer; that is design intent, and how much changes varies. A course is often recommended, with the number of sessions set after assessment.
Alternatives
InMode uses radiofrequency for chin fat and lower-face fullness, and InMode for the Body pairs radiofrequency with suction. Tuneliner Face combines ultrasound heat with micro-vibration for mild facial laxity. The physician tells you if your concern needs a different approach.
Screening and recovery
Tell the physician about a pacemaker, metal implants in the area, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or inflamed skin there. Warmth and discomfort are expected, and surface cooling does not make the session painless. Temporary redness, tenderness or mild swelling can follow, and recovery varies by area.
