With you sitting upright, the physician looks at where the cheek has dropped zone by zone and checks skin thickness and elasticity. Thin skin, heavy tissue and differences between sides each change the choice, and the plan is marked on your face rather than taken from a template.
When threads alone are not enough
If part of the hollow look is volume loss rather than sagging, threads will not fill it, and a volume treatment may be discussed separately. Sometimes threads are not the right answer at all, and the physician will say so.

Risks and recovery
