Bring these questions
- Is my lower-face looseness early enough for HIFU, or would heavier sagging need a different plan?
- How would you decide whether repeat sessions or maintenance make sense for me?
- How much tenderness along the jaw should I expect, and will it affect my plans in the following days?
What is assessed
The usual focus is a softening jawline and early looseness in the lower face. The physician decides depth, settings and shot count after looking at your skin and what you want to change. Previous lifting, filler or threads in the lower face should be mentioned with rough dates.
Limitations
Heavy sagging or a lot of loose skin usually needs a different plan, and a very lean face is a reason to pause. There is no fixed course; the number of sessions and any maintenance are decided in person and reviewed. How much changes, and for how long, varies.
Comparable approaches
Ultherapy and CoolSoniq also use focused ultrasound at set depths. Radiofrequency options such as Oligio heat the dermis instead. Potenza addresses texture and pores rather than lift. The physician explains which tool fits the layer where your change sits.
Comfort and recovery
Most people feel prickling or warmth, often stronger over bone along the jaw; numbing cream can reduce it and you can ask for pauses. Redness, warmth, tenderness or mild swelling can occur. Active acne or infection in the area, pregnancy or breastfeeding are reasons to wait.
