Bring these questions
- Is a care session appropriate on the same day as my procedure, or should my skin be left alone?
- Which care option suits my skin type and recent treatments?
- If I have an event or flight the same day, which gentler steps would you choose?
Who it suits
The usual focus is dry, reactive or recently treated skin, and upkeep between procedures. The esthetician looks at your skin and asks about recent treatments before starting with gentle cleansing. Options include ion or LED care, LDM, blackhead care or bridal mask care.
Care, not a medical treatment
Sessions are esthetician-led, with the physician responsible for the overall plan. They support medical treatment and are not a substitute for it. If your concern needs a medical procedure, that decision belongs to the physician.
Timing with procedures
After some lasers or injections the skin should be left alone for a while, while after others a calming session is reasonable. Whether a session goes on the same day is confirmed when your plan is made, following the physician's aftercare.
Possible redness and travel
Some people go a little pink after cleansing or blackhead care, varying with skin and session. Mention allergies to skincare products. Share travel dates and any procedure you are booking so the clinic can suggest which session to book and when.
